Morgan began writing comics in 1990, working on Disciple, Zero Assassin and City's Angel.

He has worked as a website designer, martial arts journalist and tai chi teacher.

He writes science fiction, fantasy and gothic mystery novels and has recently written the screenplay for "Barrier", a sci-fi film featuring Claudia Christian (Ivanova from Babylon 5) and Bruce Hopkins (Gamling from Lord of the Rings).

Morgan often collaborates with other artists and writers. He is writing The Wolf's Odyssey novels with Claudia Christian (a sci-fi story set in a future Galactic Roman Empire). He has collaborated with Cambell award winning writer Nick DiChario on a comedy steampunk short story and is working on a sci-fi childrens picture book with New York artist Eytan Wronker.

Morgan is a 3rd generation Cheng style tai chi practitioner and teacher with 19 years experience. He represented Australia at the European Tai Chi Championships in 2002 (photo right).

Morgan has also studied with various teachers of Western mysticism since 1991 with a specific interest in alchemy and meditation. His interest in movement practice extends to Shamanic Dance and Bodywork which he has practised with dancer and healer Zsuzsanna Soboslay.

Morgan is a keen martial artist having studied Shotokan Karate, Judo, Brasilian Jiu Jitsu, Kung Fu, Pencak Silat & Western Boxing.

He has lived in South Africa, America, England and currently resides in Melbourne, Australia with his sons Calum & Liam and wife Dr. Catherine Buchanan, an astrophysicist at Melbourne University.
